Typically, students between the ages of 14 and 16 continue to expand and deepen their knowledge base. At this level, students are offered a wide range of subjects that focus on developing analytical skills: the ability to analyze, compare information from different sources, and make complex decisions.
The curriculum is also designed to prepare students for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (Cambridge IGCSE) examinations. Students are given some freedom in their subject choices, and our teachers and staff will work with them not only to ensure success in the exams, but also to prepare them for the next stage of their education.
Students choose around eight subjects to sit for the IGCSE examination, including compulsory mathematics, English and science. The curriculum maintains a personalised learning environment that encourages personal growth and self-expression. Some students are able to take languages and mathematics at an early stage.
